Stay Tuned: IMSI Training Program Launch
As we continue to respond to natural disasters and humanitarian crises unfolding globally, we have realized our need for highly trained, specialized teams who can deploy to disaster zones at a moment’s notice to make an effective and positive impact in dire situations. But for this to happen, we must build a training program that can prepare faithful men and women to enter unstable and potentially dangerous conditions. We believe having these teams at our disposal will allow us to deploy knowledgeable and skilled groups to our mission stations around the world, which in turn will increase our capability to provide desperately needed relief and positively influence the lives of those suffering most.
We have broken down these teams into three basic tiers. Each tier will have its own specialized training program that will be curated to enhance the capabilities of that team to respond to the specific needs of the situation into which it will be deployed.
Tier 1: Rapid Response Units
Tier 2: IMSI Teams
Tier 3: IMSI Ambassadors
As we are in the beginning stages of developing this program, please be mindful that the following details are subject to revision.
IMSI Ambassadors
The function of an IMSI Ambassador is to deploy to a relatively safe region/country to lead volunteer groups working on the ground. This will include planning and logistics, implementing operations, and generally assisting with the accomplishment of our organizational goals. Ambassadors will attend a 10-14 day training course that will cover the following topics.
Training Subjects
First Aid/Trauma Care
Cross Cultural Familiarization
Primitive Living
Leadership
Physical Fitness
Principles of Walking in the Spirit
IMSI Teams
The IMSI Team is expected to be the initial group developing the IMSI mission station in a new, prospective country. The IMSI Team will cultivate relationships with people on the ground, build a network of local contacts to work with, and identify and develop projects on which IMSI can base its presence and operations in the region. The IMSI Team will be on the front line in the sense that it will be responsible for developing a grassroots project into a regional/national operation that blends both local and international assistance. IMSI Team members will attend a 3-4 week training course that will cover the following topics.
Training Subjects
First Aid/Trauma Care
Cross Cultural Familiarization
Primitive Living and Survival
Situational Awareness, Evasion, and Escape
Land Navigation and Route Planning
Physical Fitness
Principles of Walking in the Spirit
Rapid Response Units
Rapid Response Units are intended to be the tip of the spear in every sense, physically, spiritually and mentally. They will be the first IMSI group to enter a high-risk country or potentially dangerous region. Individuals in the Rapid Response Units must be able to deploy at a moment's notice to their assigned region of the world. With ongoing training and personal development, they will be ready to respond to war-torn countries, natural disasters, and economically unstable regions to efficiently facilitate humanitarian relief to Indigenous Displaced People. Rapid Response Units will not only provide desperately needed aid, but will also be responsible for gathering reliable information to provide the outside world with an accurate picture of the situation on the ground. Rapid Response Units will attend an 8-9 week training course that will cover the following topics.
Training Subjects
First Aid/Trauma Care, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Triage
Cross Cultural Familiarization
Rapid Response Mindset
Gray Man Theory
Survival, Escape, Resistance, Evasion
Enduring Captivity and Interrogation
