Updates from Around the World
A Visit to Colombia
A few members of our team, along with IMSI Director Brad Witbracht, recently traveled to Colombia for a meaningful time of ministry and connection with our local partners. The main purpose of their visit was to participate in a missions conference at the local church,
where they had the opportunity to share about missions and encourage others to consider the importance of serving their communities and sharing the Gospel. It was a valuable time of fellowship and encouragement, highlighting the work being done through local ministries and inspiring others to become more involved in missions.
During their visit, the team also spent time at a local school, where they had the opportunity to speak and share with students. It was a great opportunity to connect with the school community and learn more about the work taking place there.
Time with local ministry partners provided an opportunity to listen to their needs and learn more about the opportunities and challenges they are facing. These conversations help strengthen relationships and provide a better understanding of how IMSI can continue to support them.
We are thankful for the opportunity to connect with those serving there and see firsthand the impact of their ministry in Colombia. Our goal is not simply to visit, but to build lasting relationships and serve alongside those who are faithfully ministering in their communities.
Please keep the churches and schools in your prayers as they continue their important work.
Our Annual Conference in Málaga
As we look toward the end of another year, we are looking forward to gathering in Málaga, Spain, for our annual conference. that will take place November
22-26. We are excited for this special time to come together with team members from around the world. People will be traveling from different countries and mission stations to join us, giving us a unique opportunity to hear firsthand what God is doing in different parts of the world.
Our annual conference is a time to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy fellowship with one another, while also looking ahead to what God has in store for the future. Ministry can be challenging, and these days of fellowship give our team an opportunity to encourage one another, share burdens, and be reminded that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves. We also take time to discuss upcoming plans, share what is happening in our different mission stations, and reflect on all that God has done throughout the past year.
We are grateful to be able to once again host this year’s conference in Málaga, a place where God has allowed our Spain team and the IMSI ministry to continue growing and serving the community.
If you are planning to attend the conference, or are still unsure but would like to receive updates and information, please register using the link below.
Preparing for a Bible Institute in Romania
We are also looking ahead to the beginning of the year, when the IMSI building in Romania will host a special Bible Institute. People from different parts of
the world will gather together for a time of learning, teaching, fellowship, and encouragement. This will be the first Bible Institute held in the new building, marking an exciting milestone as the space begins to serve one of its many purposes, including supporting ministry and training.
We are excited to see the building being used as a place where people can grow in their knowledge of God and to be equipped for ministry. Beyond providing housing and space for events, it is becoming a hub for teaching, training, and building meaningful connections that will support ministry for years to come. This will also be a valuable opportunity for the locals of Romania to take part in the teaching and grow in their ability to serve their churches and communities.
As we prepare for the Bible Institute, we are grateful for everyone whose generosity and hard work have helped make this building possible. Please pray for the preparations leading up to the institute and that this time of learning and fellowship will strengthen and equip those who attend.
Sincerely,
The IMSI Team
