From Vision to Reality: Romania Station Building Project
Our NGO is currently building a new multi-purpose facility in Romania with the help of our local Romanian friends and team members. This facility will serve as a place of training and community support for years to come. Located on the same property where we host our summer camps, the building is set to be completed in the spring to early summer. This new space represents an important step forward in expanding our ability to serve children, team members, and the surrounding community.
One of the primary purposes of the Romania Station Center is to house children and youth during summer camps. These camps provide a safe, encouraging environment where children can experience joy, friendship, and learn about God. By having a dedicated on-site building, we can better care for campers and create a space where values such as teamwork and hope are intentionally developed.
Our center will also provide housing for IMSI project team members throughout the year, allowing for a consistent, long-term presence on the property. Year-round housing enables our team to better prepare for camps, mentor participants, plan outreach programs, and build strong relationships within the community. This consistency is essential to creating lasting impact. In addition, the Romania Station building will serve as a training center and workshop space. Here, we will host leadership development sessions, practical skills training, and programs focused on character building.
The facility will also function as a distribution center, allowing us to efficiently store and distribute food, clothing, educational materials, and other essential resources to individuals and families in need. Having a centralized space will greatly improve our ability to respond to both ongoing needs and special outreach opportunities.
As construction nears completion, our most urgent remaining need is funding for the boiler system required to heat the building. This system is essential for making the facility usable throughout the year, especially during colder months. If you feel led to help us meet this need, we invite you to click the Donate button below. Your generosity will help ensure that this building is fully operational and ready to serve from the moment it opens.
Below is an outline of the remaining steps and tasks to be completed for this building project.
