Spain Building Progress

Dear friends and partners,

We are excited and deeply grateful to share an important update regarding the building project in Málaga, Spain. We have officially begun renovations on the property. This marks a significant milestone for our ministry and for the community we serve. The work to be done to turn it into a public meeting place will be pretty extensive, as we must meet many city requirements and building codes, but we see the great benefits of being right in the heart of the city across from schools, city sports complex, a city library, and even a police station.

This building will serve multiple purposes. One purpose will provide more ministry space for Iglesia Bautista Libertad and the growing needs for their international ministry. This church is in great need of a larger place to gather and worship together. As the congregation continues to grow, it has become clear that a bigger, more functional space is necessary to accommodate weekly services and outreach efforts. We are honored that this facility will serve as a place where people from diverse backgrounds, including Ukrainian, Cuban, Spanish, Brazilian, Venezuelan, Paraguayan, English, and many others, can come together.

Secondly, the building will serve as the office for our IMSI Spain headquarters and will provide the space for the preparation of our current and future projects. This will provide a central base for ministry operations and outreach initiatives throughout the region. Having a dedicated office space will allow for long-term planning as the work continues to expand.

We also look forward to opening the space to offer classes and community programs that will bless and strengthen families in Málaga. Our desire is for this building to be more than just a meeting place — we envision it becoming a hub of encouragement, learning, and support for the wider community. From educational workshops to Bible studies, we pray it will be a place where lives are transformed.

Seeing the renovations underway fills us with hope and anticipation for all that God will do through this space. We currently have 20% of the funds required to complete this building project. Please pray with us that the God would provide the funds that we need to finish.
